Ted Calcara and new Deal Swing Pops series on Thursday, 1 May at 7:30 p.m. Back by popular demand, Tad's swing band returns for an all-new evening of music from the golden age of swing. An Evening of Ballets on Friday, 9 May at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, 10 May at 7:00 p.m. A quadruple bill of performances. The Utah premiere of Twyla Tharp's Nine Sinatra Songs will have you tapping your toes and humming along. George Balanchine's Serenade is his first original ballet created in the United States and is set to a superb Tchaikovsky score. The program concludes with the long-awaited return of Bruce Marks' Continuo and the pas de deux from Val Caniparoli's poignant Hamlet and Ophelia. |
