Welcome To The Top Of Utah Newcomers Club

 

The Top of Utah Newcomers Club has been welcoming people to our community since 1989.

We continue to provide a friendly setting where newcomers can get acquainted within the Wasatch Valley. Whether you are new or not so new to the area our social club provides opportunities to meet and make new friends.  We're a vibrant, fun group of men and women, singles and couples who love to have fun together as we explore the community around us. To make new friendships and share interests in the community.  There are many activities to explore and we welcome you to join us at one of our monthly coffees or luncheons where, in addition to meeting some of our members, you can learn about the wealth of activities, social and interest groups that comprise our organization.

 

Here is a sampling of some of our activities :

Coffee's  Everyone is invited to come and meet us at our monthly coffee.   We meet at 10 a.m. on the second Thursday of the month, and the location varies.  Enjoy beverages and finger food as you mingle with other Newcomers and hear what is going on with our Club.

Luncheons  It's a chance to welcome prospective members, meet friends, and make new ones. New club activities and events are presented as well as a guest speaker. They are held on the fourth Thursday of the month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  

Book Club has a lively discussion on a variety of books.  The group meets on the third Thursday in the morning.

Bunco  we have two bunco groups, one in the evening and one in the morning. 

Bridge  has two gatherings on Thursday's meeting at different locations. 

Dining Out  for couples and singles, meets on the third Thursday evening at various restaurants in the local area.

Cooking with Friends  this group meets the first Saturday of the month.  Groups share in the preparation and cost of pre-planned dinner menu's and dine together at member's homes.  It's a fun way for people who love fine food and wine to spend a casual evening together. 

Hiking and Snowshoeing  join the group most Friday mornings from late Spring through Fall for hiking into the Wasatch Front and beyond. Snowshoeing begins usually in January as weather permits.

Gardening  have a "green thumb"?  Join this group to meet fellow gardners, share ideas, seeds, cuttings, present gardening questions and learn from local experts.
